I believe that a person finds a lifestyle suited for them only when it is time. I have found the Yoga lifestyle for me at this point in my life- and I am eternally grateful for the all spiritual powers that surround me for this gracious gift. My mind's chatter is horrid during practice- my at least I recognize it and bring the intention to quiet it down. Would Benadryl work? Namaste
If I hadn't lived through it I wouldn't have believed it. Yoga, learning to breathe actively, meditation actually CHANGES your body, your mind, attitude, and health. I am in-tune with my body and state of mind like never before. I am joyous at finding these gifts. It's a wonder! Love and gratitude to my, and all teachers, and God. Namaste
I want to show appreciation to Yoga Journal for inspiring me and to assist me in my path to enlightenment. I love yoga. Yoga makes me happy. It is as simple as that. I've been practicing yoga for a year and a half now. I'm so happy and 'enlightened' to have found this practice; my consciousness and self-awareness has grown and helped to improve my overall sense of well-being. My yoga instructor(s) are a 'perfect' fit for me, too! They inspire, accept, encourage, show 'mercy, and model all that being a yogi is about. I love Yoga Journal magazine, as well and faithfully read the daily e-mails I receive. THANK YOU!
