According to an extract of the Oxford Handbook Of Complementary Medicine by Edzard Ernst, Max H. Pittler, Barbara Wider and Kate Boddy that ran in the Daily Mail Reporter, "There is not enough evidence to say whether popular therapies such as Alexander technique (which improves movement and posture), auriculotherapy (stimulation of the ear), biofeedback, comfrey, music therapy or yoga make a difference" when used to relieve back pain.
