Yoga Center for Healthy Living, LLC, facilitates healing on every level (physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually) for each individual who walks through our doors. Yoga works from the inside out ... mind, body and soul. By practicing yoga and working with the breath, rejuvenation transforms one's body, improving circulation and respiration, increasing strength and flexibility, improving muscle tone and enhancing relaxation. Being refreshed and recharged, revitalized and renewed, is a natural occurrence when practicing yoga. The Yoga Center's goal is to provide peace internally and externally.
Teacher training is based upon Swami Sivananda's hatha yoga style, with vinyasa flow incorporated, Taking Care of Backs (TCB) basics also instructed (in support of the vast number of people with back-related issues). Pranayama, savasana, Yin, restorative yoga and meditation included.
RYT 200 and 500 hours available.
Intimate small group instruction in natural and studio settings support dynamic and effective learning. Nationally and internationally certified and registered instructors provide a well-rounded perspective of study from Sivananda hatha yoga, Ashtanga, vinyasa flow, T.C.B., Yin and restorative styles. Detailed directions and consistent support help immerse the student teacher in practical manners to assist development in professional ethics, personal leadership and effective communication, self-confidence and mastery. With the completion of this 200-hour program, you will meet the standards and requirements of Yoga Alliance in becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).
