Linda Lack, PhD, director and primary teacher, has dedicated her life and work to the study of the human body, movement/breath and their relationship to creativity, healing and spirituality. She is a yoga/movement therapist, yoga teacher, a dancer/choreographer, researcher, performer and international lecturer. Her technique, The Thinking Body-The Feeling Mind®, has positioned itself in the various worlds of yoga, dance, therapy and spiritual psychology. Lack is a visiting lecturer at Loyola Marymount University's Yoga Therapy RX program, the International Association of Yoga Therapists, the Congress on Research in Dance, and Fundacion Santa Fe de Bogota’s medical program on longevity in Bogota, Colombia. Lack has been funded and acknowledged by the Rockefeller Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, California Arts Council, Samadha International Healing Awards, the Los Angeles Area Dance Alliance Awards for Innovative Choreography, and has received a LACE award in the category of Art and Spirituality.
