Established in 1997 and homegrown in Pasadena, Yoga House is a "small business" studio that remains warm, friendly, personal and inclusive despite being one of the largest, most highly regarded centers for yoga in Southern California. Housed in a beautiful, vintage 1920s brick building that is "quintessentially Pasadena," Yoga House features three spacious and serene classrooms with high ceilings, hardwood floors and a full complement of props, including wall ropes. After class, students can enjoy complimentary herbal teas in our comfortable, light-filled lobby, which is always graced with fresh flowers.

With over 70 classes a week taught by an experienced staff of over 30 instructors, Yoga House offers an eclectic mix of levels and styles, from beginning to advanced, including hatha, Iyengar and Ashtanga. Other specialized classes include gentle, restorative, meditation, prenatal and postnatal and yoga for kids. We specialize in therapeutics, offering yoga for arthritis; "Challenging Conditions" for multiple sclerosis; therapeutic yoga for cancer (free); and yoga for HIV/AIDS (free). Other special programs include Yoga 101, a one-day orientation for beginners, special workshops (often featuring renowned instructors from across the globe) and an annual teacher training.

The first class is free for locals and a special discount "Starter Series" of five classes is available to first-time students. Yoga House offers everything from drop-ins to manageable class packages to yearly memberships. Discounted community classes are also available, as is a 10% student/senior discount. Yoga House also carries a wide variety of yoga props, books, DVDs, clothing, jewelry, accessories and more.
