The Stone Center for Yoga & Health is a welcoming community where people gather to practice yoga and meditation, relax, share and grow.
Our mission is to promote well-being for every body, for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. We invite our students to discover a "yoga of living" that will serve them on and off the mat.
The Stone Yoga method draws upon three respected lineages: the adaptive approach of Viniyoga and Structural Yoga Therapy, the wisdom of Ayurveda, and the fluidity of Feldenkrais. Across our classes, our certified instructors are guided by this consistent methodology, which is strengthening, mindful, and deeply respectful of each student's individual needs.
We offer hatha, vinyasa, hot, gentle, stress-reducing, and therapeutic yoga for osteoporosis and arthritis, as well as Pilates, and private sessions. Through our off-campus offerings, retreats, and Yoga-to-Go programs, we bring our sensible classes, workshops and trainings to you, at your corporation, non-profit organization, school, or home. We can also integrate our training modules into already-running teacher trainings at your facility. At our center and off-campus, all are welcomed with warmth and acceptance, in a supportive, non-competitive environment of inclusiveness and encouragement.
We build community through workshops, a free monthly meditation circle, Yoga Alliance-accredited trainings, yoga teacher mentoring, and year-round volunteer activities that benefit the broader community.
