Taking Yoga To The Next Level: Spiritual Activation/Activism
The Jivamukti Yoga Schools are places for spiritual gathering that offer vigorous hatha yoga classes with an emphasis on the source teachings from such ancient texts as the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali and the Upanishads.
Our Jivamukti locations offer regular meditation and Sanskrit classes taught and chanted in their traditional forms. All classes are open to students of all levels. The schools also host international performers and speakers from a wide range of spiritual and artistic fields.
In the practices of yoga, our resistance to the natural state of bliss and our attachment to the world of forms and senses is made apparent. When we feel limitation in the body or the mind while practicing yoga, we are afforded the opportunity to concentrate on our true nature, which is love itself, beyond limitation. Jivamukti is proud to host a wide range of workshops and lectures by yoga teachers, musicians, artists and speakers of international regard.
