Haramara Retreat, Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico
"One of the 10 best yoga retreats in the world." (Yoga Journal)
Described as the place "where Robinson Crusoe meets Architectural Digest," Haramara Retreat is an intimate, magical and idyllic place created and designed to provide a natural and supportive environment. Haramara offers serenity, seclusion and security to ensure relaxing and renewing retreats and vacations for individuals, couples and groups.
Deep thought and consideration was given to the placement and location of every structure on the 12 acres of land at Haramara so as to remain at one with the jungle and beach with minimal environmental impact while still taking advantage of our spectacular views. Scattered across beautiful tropical hillsides, each structure—16 private cabanas, an eight-person dorm, two yoga pavilions (yoga props provided), three jungle spa cabanas and an open-air dining room/restaurant—has been built using traditional hand-made construction methods.
Enjoy the rustic luxury of our private cabanas, featuring comfortable beds with hand-woven sheets, oil lamps and candles for softly lit evenings, and original and uniquely designed private bathrooms. Our restaurant offers exceptional, creative, local cuisine that includes organic vegetarian and seafood dishes prepared by some of the finest chefs in Mexico. Our open-air jungle spa is situated above the rhythmic surf and puts you back in touch with nature as we pamper your body and spirit.
Come enjoy the nurturing safety all in the embrace of sacred land blessed by the Huichol Indians and the stunning Pacific coastline.
