Our 200 hour program is the foundation of the Yoga Integrated Science™ method. Learn the about the latest research regarding flexibility, mobility, and stability, including its historical continuity. You will experience a biomechanical analysis of many basic yoga postures including structural anatomy of the foot, ankle, hip, trunk & spine, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. Learn about the science of pranayama and mechanics of respiration as well as an introduction to meditation and its effects on the brain. Get hands on practice with the Yoga I.S. ® science of adjusting, YOGression™ yoga sequencing, and Yoga IS teaching methodology. Learn about how to teach to multiple levels, special populations, and seniors
Our 300 hour program will give you the tools to work with individuals at a personal level with many complicated issues as well as enable you to communicate with medical professionals. Separated into three parts, this training will give you an in-depth understanding of the muscular system and how to identify and eliminate positional weakness that may lead to injury or compensation. Go in-depth into chakras and the CNS, analyzing many more intermediate-advanced postures, and therapeutic modalities. Study injury rehabilitation, goal-specific issues, and individualized programming. We also teach how to add resistance challenges in our Yoga IS Mechanix™ program.
