Yoga Synthesis offers basic 200-hour teacher training and 300-hour advanced teacher training programs, both approved and registered with Yoga Alliance. The training offers a comprehensive view of different yoga styles, with particular emphasis on classical hatha, Viniyoga, Iyengar Yoga, Ashtanga and Kundalini. Styles, methodologies and forms are compared and discussed to facilitate a broader understanding, while continually emphasizing the core principles and commonalities.

Participants are encouraged to delve wholeheartedly into their own practice, practice teaching and observe classes, in order to further their own development in yoga and to gain practical insights into teaching technique.

Main presentations and classes are taught by Raji Thron. Raji's 30-plus years of extensive training, paired with his diverse background and creative innovations, make him a uniquely valuable resource. Special presentations and programs are taught intermittently by our adjunct faculty. These presenters will share their expertise on designated training sessions to enhance and deepen the learning experience.

The next Yoga Synthesis Basic Certification teacher training begins September 28, 2012 and runs a span of nine weekends, meeting at the Yoga Synthesis studio.
The Yoga Synthesis Advanced Teacher Training will begin in February of 2013.
