Owned and operated by Yogini Marla Ericksen (E-RYT 500), not only is the studio a space for practice, it is also home to the Empower ME Yoga Teacher Training Academy. The Academy is the first of its kind in Eastern Ontario and is the hub of certification and continuing education for yoga teachers from all traditions. We offer foundational certifications for aspiring teachers and general interest students alike.

Our programs are available in intensive formats as well as in extended immersion formats so that learning about living and teaching yoga can fit into any lifestyle. We are proud to be one of the few registered 500-hour certification schools in Ontario and we are an approved private educational institution with the Canadian government. 

Teachers come to us to blossom in their personal practice and to grow as they advance their studies. We also offer a unique mentorship program which is designed to assist newly certified graduates (from any school) continue along their path through giving them an opportunity to ride the momentum wave of learning, practicing and living yoga as active members of a thriving yoga community.
