Anamaya is an exotic tropical boutique resort in Costa Rica specializing in yoga teacher training and a variety of yoga retreats.

We are located in the Pacific Coast beach town of Montezuma, on a point overlooking the ocean, next to a large three-tiered waterfall, Montezuma Falls.  Some of Costa Rica's most beautiful white sand beaches are a short distance away, and the resort is surrounded by a jungle nature reserve, filled with monkeys, parrots and other exotic creatures.

Our yoga teacher training programs are usually 200-hour, Yoga Alliance-certified, and alternate with a variety of yoga retreats. Some of our yoga retreats are taught by visiting instructors, and others are taught by our staff. Most of our top staff members are certified yoga instructors, including our president, booking manager and receptionists.  We're all about yoga here, but from time to time we also offer a variety of other workshops, such as aerial silk/yoga, Zumba, meditation, detox retreats, and even fire dancing.

We offer healthy, organic gourmet food, and are happy to cater to special dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan or wheat-free.

Please visit our website for more information about our specific retreats, and check out our photo gallery, which we hope will inspire you to pay us a visit. Book early because nearly all our YTTs and retreats are filled. Namaste.
