Harlem Yoga Studio is a fun, relaxed and welcoming yoga studio for every body, located in the heart of Harlem.  We offer a variety of classes for those who live, work and play in the neighborhood, as well as private instruction and workshops.

At Harlem Yoga Studio, we believe that the immense physical and mental benefits of yoga should be made accessible to everyone regardless of income, age or ability. Our reasonable prices, clear and compassionate teachers, and welcoming atmosphere reflect that belief.

Each class at Harlem Yoga Studio incorporates fundamental aspects of yoga: physical asana with attention to proper alignment, pranayama (breathing), chanting, and guided deep relaxation. Asana practice is designed to find union between body and breath, and includes a mix of strengthening and stretching, focused alignment and flowing movement, effort and ease.

Weekly yoga classes include:

  • Adult classes at all levels (basics through advanced), Vinyasa, Hatha, Iyengar,  Full-figured yoga, Restorative yoga, Mat Pilates,  Bellydancing, and more!
  • Classes for the whole family: Prenatal yoga, Postnatal yoga, Baby & Me, Toddler & Me, and Kids' Yoga (* Adult Open Level Yoga classes are offered during all Kids  Yoga classes!) 
  • Donation-only community yoga classes (pay what you can!) , and Donation-only Prenatal

In addition, we offer a variety of programs for organizations in Harlem and throughout New York. Workshops such as Yoga for the Classroom, Yoga and Stress Reduction and many more provide a deeper understanding of the link between the physical practices of yoga and the many benefits yoga can have in your daily life.
