Thank you so much for the opportunity to take your teaching yoga to kids workshop. I got a lot out of it, on many different levels! Your class gave me the chance to bond with nice women in a safe environment. Another challenge was the spontaneous storytelling and class leading, which really made me work my brain and overcome stage fright! Also, your insights regarding children and the dynamics of working with them were very helpful. The workshop was invaluable in helping prepare me for working with children in the future. Thanks again, - Dacil W.

I had the very fun and educational experience of learning to teach yoga to kids with Sunje OClancy, founder of Yoga Rascals. When I started the training, I really had very little idea how to go about teaching kids. Through Sunjes excellent instruction and personal mentoring, I learned how to keep kids interested, focused, and having lots of fun with stories, songs, and games, as they learn the breathing, poses, and ethics of yoga. The Yoga Rascals approach to teaching yoga is imaginative, fun, and energetic, just as kids are. Importantly, I learned how to use positive forms of reinforcement and, when necessary, discipline to keep control of a room full of active kids. I also learned how to make yoga fun for both boys and girls and for different age groups. Although at first I was uncertain about how well I would be able to connect with kids, I soon lost my self-consciousness, found my own creativity, and was having a great time. Now teaching kids using the Yoga Rascals approach keeps me feeling young! - Anna N.
