Pathways Yoga Systems is a Y.A.-accredited yoga school offering level I, II and III certifications, including the Y.A. 200- and Y.A. 500-hour certifications. Established in 1991 by Pat Bruno (Swami Padmananda), Pathways Yoga Systems (PYS) has been training teachers in the Arhum tradition of yoga as taught to Pat by her guru, H.H. Archarya Sushil Kumar Maharaj Ji. Arhum Yoga encompasses all aspects of philosophy and yogic practice in the Arihant spiritual tradition. Pathways Yoga Systems is the teaching branch of this ancient system for the mastery of the inner self through watchfulness and direct perception. PYS also draws from the teachings of Sivananda as taught through Swami Vishnu Devananda and Swami Satyananda. Program includes asana, pranayama (breathing), chanting, meditation and relaxation techniques. PYS also offers specialty wellness workshops (back care, heart, MS, arthritis, prenatal, children's, etc.), classes for the general public, corporate classes and aqua yoga.
