Vinyasa flow yoga three-week intensive YTT retreats in exotic locations: 200-hour Yoga Alliance-approved and 300-hour advanced intensives.
Our yoga teacher training course is an established, comprehensive, well-organized, affordable and highly effective program. This program has been successfully running for seven years, currently with nine trainings offered per year both around the world and at the founding studio, Frog Lotus Yoga, in North Adams, MA.
The director of the program, Jacqueline Heisel, E-RYT 500, is a seasoned master teacher with over 30 years of joyful practice and teaching experience. Jennifer Yarro, E-RYT 500, in addition to assisting Jacqueline with the overseas trainings, now owns and directs Frog Lotus Yoga in MA and runs the YTT program there three times a year. Since the program's inception there have been over 1000 successful graduates.
In 2010 retreats will be held in Guatemala, Costa Rica, Bali, Italy, Thailand, India and at Frog Lotus Yoga Studio. At the studio, the residential training program takes four weeks and includes hatha yoga certification. This program includes meditation, guided philosophical discussions, a comprehensive anatomy portion, in-depth study of alignment, modification of postures and business application. There is a strong focus on assisting and practice teaching, so that trainees are well-equipped to be successful yoga teachers upon completion of the program.
Jacqueline and Jennifer also co-lead an additional 300 hours of advanced YTT to allow students to complete 500 hours of Y.A.-approved training. This is taught as two 150-hour two-week retreats.
