Baron Baptiste is the son of yoga pioneers Walter and Magana Baptiste, who opened the first San Francisco yoga studio in 1955. He began practicing yoga as a young child and has studied with multiple Indian yoga masters. He developed Baptiste Yoga and has runs teacher trainings in his specific style of yoga. The aim of Baptiste Yoga is to create freedom, peace of mind, and the ability to live more authentically. Expect a physically challenging flowing practice that will get your heart rate up. Each class features a vigorous 90-minute vinyasa sequence in a heated room. It is geared to more athletic practitioners but everyone is welcome. Baptiste style encourages students to work and honor their own level of fitness.
