I am suffering from frozen shoulder, pain and stiffness along with poor muscles and some range of motion. I would like to have some pictures as I had a surgery done lst year for rotator cuff injury. Can you pls show the video to fix this.
Thanks

Jane

Thank you very much. I share the request for images of the arm positions. I suffered compression at the shoulder ,folllowing a wirst fracture and appreciate learning more about the shoudler from an Iyengar certified teacher. I have been practising Iyengar yoga for 5 years now and believe it to be the most precise and well taught method around. We actually learn "how".
Thanks again, J.

Thank you for this article. I am a long-time yoga practitioner, but now have a frozen shoulder. Many teachers do not understand the condition, and think it can be worked through like a rotator cuff injury.

I would like to see pictures which I could take with me to the mat to practice.

This is great but would be much more useful with pictures showing some of the recommended stretches. Thanks!

Yoga has been a God-send in dealing with my frozen shoulder. I am able to relax all other parts of my body as the PT works my shoulder. I have also been able to reach farther and higher during my Kripalu yoga sessions. Tip: Use a heating pad prior to your yoga session.

I have also had many years of training in ballet, but never had this problem. I guess I have been fortunate in this aspect.

I think my shoulders are both out of their joint, most of the time.(12 years of ballet). I was hoping you could tell me some poses that can strengthen and shorten the muscles, so they dont keep pulling out. I have had this for years. I hope you can help me. thanks.
