MO is right, guilt is wasted energy.
Your visits to those countries promote work. When visiting buy their goods on formal stores which pay taxes and pay their employees.
You should not feel guilty but instead use the energy to make better. Guilt is just wasted energy
Maybe you would like to check for yourself - what is it that is so upsetting for me?
Is it that I genuinely feel sorry for suffering people? OR do I feel sorry for myself because the sight of suffering disturbs MY peace and I want it to go away as quickly as possible? OR do I feel sorry for myself because being unable to help doesn't feel nice and causes me suffering?
Lots of Love
Hi, I have a question: I was raised up in a very strictly religious ^(^christian) family background. ^Now I travelled through a poorer country and at once I got those guilty feelings when I saw the poôr people or the circumstances. That also happens, when I see people suffering in my closer surrounding. How can I transform this feelings or how can I heas them? I am afraid, that I cant travel longer withôut gettîng ^too^much worrei^d a^n afraîd.
