Headaches during Asana

I read that headaches can result from doing backbends without the proper sequence to ready the body. Could you explain a specific series to follow to properly perform back-bending poses?

Are there other tips on class sequencing to prevent headaches? I sometimes think that doing forward-bending poses, Child's Pose, and other poses that put the head lower than the heart may cause headaches. Is this true, and how do I avoid this happening to my students?
