I can tell you as a fact that since I've been practicing yoga at the local gym, the number of my monthy migranes and headaches got reduced!!! I would like to see poses that helps with headaches. However, I am so happy that now it's rare if I have a bad headache or a migrane. Before I started practicing yoga, I had intense migranes and several strong very painful headaches per month for at least 9 years... I am so greatful for being a YOGI!
This is the most informative headache "article" I have ever read! The description sounds exactly like the type of HA that I get. It usually starts at occipital area of neck and turns into a migraine. The tension of the shoulders and traps are usually a precursor.
I wonder about my pillow and my position at night in bed. I have a cervical pillow but still feel tension in my neck. I do wear heat wraps on my neck with some results.
