Wake myself up kicking multiple times during the night.


Chamomile tea can be a strong diuretic for some people. As a sleep educator I do not recommend chamomile tea after 4pm in the evening. It is best to decrease fluids in the evening and in middle of the night to avoid making trips to the bathroom. For a person with insomnia this can be very important information.


trouble waking up is due to poor circulation. you should avoid coffee, alcohol sugar milk onion garlic, and all spices except turmeric, ginger, fennel, black pepper. you should try aswagandha before excercise.......oil form is much better for massage...........tulsi ginger.or turmeric tea is good.........turmeric should be put in massage hour walk..........fresh it for one will wake up 4 in the morning


Kate: Definately ... usually too much kapha. Have a look at changing just your diet to kapha pacifying for a while and notice the difference!


Can you recommend certain yoga postures or breathing techiniques before bed for women experiencing night sweats & hot flashes. Help!!


I'm curious if an ayurvedic imbalance could cause the opposite of insomnia, trouble waking up.
