Great information- Coconut milk and oil are also quite beneficial

Ayurda USA

Talking about Ghee, mixing Ghee and Tumeric makes a terrific local antiseptic for skin cuts and sores. Promotes quicker healing and is terrific for cold sores.

Heather

Ghee is like liquid sunshine and is highly esteemed in Ayurvedic cooking. Its saturated fat is liquid at body temperature, and highly nourishing to all tissues in the body. It also makes an excellent and gentle eye cream (dab around the eyes) and nasya oil (when your sinuses are dry, wipe a little inside your nostrils with your pinkie finger!).
