This is a wonderful sequence to both work out flare ups and for maintenance to prevent them. Could it be included, as an update, to the iPhone app? I would really like to take it with me when I travel.

I do yoga regularly and they work. They heal my back pain very fast and I am very happy not to take medications.

I agree..yoga is very good for the spine. But the best would be yoga in combination with chiropractic care.

i have a herniated disk in L5-S1 area. will these poses help me or are there any others that can help?

I have been doing all types of yoga for 20 years. But in December till now the pain in my low back is now out of control. I had an e-xray and I have 4 disc compressions. I guess yoga did not save me. I am now 51 and will still do yoga but I will modify my practice. I have the viniyoga cd and I do feel better as I do with all yoga.

I swear by these poses they really help me when I am in bad pain also when you are very stiff and cannot move correctly these poses give a great sense of relief

When I started to have my back and hip pain due to my SI joints I looked for everything to get rid of the pain. I thought Id give YOGA a try because it sounded, fun. Liitle did I know that it would change my life forever. Not only has my back and hip pain lessoned, but I feel so much freeer and stress free. I also have been able to take less meds.

I just tried this sequence, and my back pain disappeared! impressive , it really helped.
