While recently traveling in India--we were instructed to face the bed east-west. Given this ancient culture and its wise tenets, we gave this a try. I love it, and we now may see another source of light--and have better air circulation.
the feet of your bed should be facing north or east. so when you are sitting in bed, you are facing north or east.
I think what really matters is that this Headboard is on a solid wall. The only available space I have is a wall that faces west although my feet face east. What can we do?
What if your room doesn't allow the head of your bed to be facing east or north because of closets and storage cupboards along those walls. The only wall I can place my bed on in my bedroom is in a south west direction with my feet facing the door.
How can you not put your feet toward the door if you are supposed to face the headboard east? Think about it.
head/face "facing" or "aiming" the north or east? so... headboard along east wall. (and not on south wall) if door is on east wall. please clarify. thank you
What if you can do SOME of these, but not ALL based on your room configuration?
Put a temporary red sheet between the mattress and the box springs to perk up your passion. Put 2 fresh red roses in the NW corner of the bed room to perk up your love life.NEVER sleep in the Chinese coffin position (feet first facing the door). As you sit up in bed, be sure you can SEE the door.
