I lived in a home with mold, and experienced chronic pain, deep depression, anxiety, food intolerances, my brother developed type 1 diabetes, another hearing loss, vertigo, and ringing in the ears, chronic pain, relational difficulties....
I encourage anyone who struggles with chronic pain to look into the possibility of mold in their homes. It may not be coincidence.
What ere good yoga excersizes for a slipped disk in the lowerback?
For all of these.....only Trigger Point Theraphy try this :) works for me. And I'm finally found how to get rid and manage my body pain.
I have almost constant knwee pain. Hot yoga helps a lot. Not Bikram yell at you but rather hot hatha and yoga flow.
I have however almost injured myself with other poses- shoulders from pulling too hard. Yoga, like sports, gives much benefit for many but has potential to hurt oneself. I am responding to the other commentor, jeff lawrence.
I get relief from hot yoga at the studio I attend in Seattle.

I have worked for over two years combining chiropractic care and massage therapy with yoga to finally put a stop to most of my pain. I have recently begun to sleep well and comfortably and I am getting stronger so I can work and accomplish more during the day. I am also no longer using any pharmaceuticals to mask the pain. I am very proud of my care team and myself for getting to where I am today. Feeling better is making my whole life better. What is the saying? Better and better every day in every way!!!
ahhh jeff - no wonder you have back pain! I also have chronic, recurrent stabbing neck pain and cry like a baby over it at times. If I do a gentle yoga class, it goes away for a while... not permanently. I am still looking to myself for ways to keep this away - no point in blaming yoga...
All this is well and good, but it was yoga, that twice gave me back pain.
