Truly a wise, reflective and deeply honest article. Thank you so much for the long path of writing such a comprehensive overview of Love.
Beautiful. Thank you for the reminder.
Thank you! I especially appreciate the part about just allowing ourselves to feel love and sharing love with others. It feels natural. As I reflect on my past I remember adopting a thought system (an error in thinking) where I left this felt sense. My life didn't seem to go as well. It's really a blessing to return to what is true.
Sally, I just wanted to thank you for your thoughtful and comprehensive article.
I helped start a community called the LOVEolution which explores, shares and experiences various meanings of Love through our Love Blog.
I was so impressed with your content that I linked to your article in Part 1 a new series I am writing called "What Is Love?".
You can find the post here: http://www.love-olution.com/blog/2012/05/101-ideas-on-what-is-love-philosophically-scientifically-spiritually-and-beyond/
Would love to have you drop by and thanks again for the great Love writing!
Thank you I really needed this.
This article came to me at a perfect time. I recently had to stop teaching yoga to take a full time job. My own practice has suffered. It is true that we hold the key within ourselves to open up and connect to this Great Love. It never leaves us - we simply forget to seek it out. Thanks for the reminder.
Very refreshing to read this multifaceted view of love and too again become cognizant of the various kinds of 'love' that are possible. Love starts from within and flows outward; it does not start from outside of oneself and flow inward.

I am really glad to read the above article & comments by other teachers & students.Love is in the heart,we block it & it seems like stone, no feelings or expression.Meditate, sit quiet & open your heart, surrendering yourself to God.We are afraid to cry or express our emotions. When we become humble, God's hand bless us & we feel the joy of peace & world.
