I have been doing yoga off and on since I was four. Once I started snowboarding, yoga became so much more important to me and I knew it was here to stay. I even created an instructional yoga mat for beginners called the CopyCat Yoga mat. The beginner's yoga mat has hand and foot placements printed on the mat. Today, I do yoga daily, run my yoga mat company and snowboard every chance I get.

Thanks, Jean, nice going on sticking to the snow boarding. I too did snowboarding on bunny hills after years of taking my kids to the gym, yoga, weightlifting and aerobics everything, when I started snowboarding some while my kids learned it. I still cannot get off of bunny hill, but I am glad to hear your yoga inspired you to keep on keeping on. Thanks for your snowry. Donna

Thanks for sharing!
I got so inspired by this story! As a practicing yogi, and a female snowboarder who struggled to learn for years, I'm so proud of Jean for sticking with it!
