Kay - You can gently heat eye pillows, just be careful that they don't get too hot. Personally, I find a cooled eye pillow works great for general relaxation and headache relief. I have a peppermint and eucalyptus one from http://eyepillowcompany.com which is really nice.

Kay

Can this be heated gently? How long? Which microwave setting?

Kristen

Yea! Thanks for this idea. I can't wait to try it!!

You could get bead filling from the craft store too and still use the herbs I'm guessing. I want to try chilling mine overnight before my morning centering to relieve under eye bags. :]

I would love to make these for my students but need help with the amount of flax, lavender etc.
Thanks!

I'd like to think the lavender and mint are keeping the bugs away from my bags since I haven't seen any. I think those herbs have some bug repellent properties.

Annette

grains and lentils tend to get infested with bugs. what to do about this?

June

I use lavender and mint with flax seeds. You can chill it in a plastic bag in the refrigerator and use to reduce puffiness around the eyes, to relieve eyestrain after computer use and for migraines. Heating in a microwave for 10-second increments can provide a warm therapy for headaches.

Ana

Can someone please post an herb mixture to fill the bags with? Thank you!
