Have you ever gotten up after Savasana (Corpse Pose) at the end of a class feeling a little too calm—unable to ... (continued)
Yes, this certainly came at the right time for me. I've been struggling financially and although I am OK for now, I'm scared. Thanks for the blessing of this coming to me now!
That article definitely came at the right time...my husband lost his job about a month ago and we are at the point now of not being able to pay rent and a number of other bills, because he hasn't been able to find work and my job only provides enough income for half the bills. I go back and forth between freaking out and trying to breath and stay focused and figuring out a way to make ends meet. Yoga is a lifesaver....don't know how I would cope without it.
Thank you I needed to hear that!
I hear you. I do know that if I weren't practicing yoga it would be much, much worse. I have to remind myself to breath every 5 minutes instead of a couple of times a day. Sometimes I just have to be proactive and get out there and look for resources. My husband and I found a food buying club which saves us about 50% in groceries and we also belong to a CSA (community supported agriculture) farm. We only go to the grocery store for milk, butter and coffee.

headstand (how can you freak too much when you are standing on your head) - breathing (gratefulness for breath and life make it difficult to freak - - - - we're breathing, something is coming next - - - - - - we have no idea but we're centered, present. FOCUS: focusing on what we can be doing to help our situation (honing new skills, creating a more efficient budget, selling things on ebay that we don't need, thinking of a new career that will be more suitable and stable in this new world, etc.) Mainly, calm and focus, so we can respond better. Great question, Beth!
Yah...I was wondering where the rest of article solutions where...I guess from my experience, we can practice meditation, breathing exercises (to help calm and clear mind) or just rest in corpse pose......

And the best tools for this type of stress are????????
