Sarasvati River Tradition is a goddess-centered practice with elements of hatha, jnana, and bhakti yoga, and Taoism, Kashmir Shaivism, and Tibetan Yoga.
The DVD has eight sequences to choose from, depending on how much time you have: three for beginners, with breathing and standing poses; three in a more challenging series, with breathing, chanting, and a vinyasa practice; and a Sun Salutation that begins with breathing, and then coordinates its movements with mantras and chakra visualizations. There's also a short supine Yoga Nidra guided meditation. Zyrka Landwijt's instruction is clear, her modeling admirable, and her presentation earnest.
