Herbs against Cancer: History and Controversy by Ralph W. Moss
Scrupulously researched, this guide to cancer-treating herbs separates the clinical facts from the hype.

One of the most exhaustively researched and scrupulously written of the scores of herbal books to come out in the past year, Herbs Against Cancer provides an authoritative history of the use of herbs against malignancies, and then examines more than a dozen specific herbs from around the world, reputed to provide therapeutic benefits against cancer. Moss is not easily persuaded by herbal advocates and insists on scientific evidence before backing popular claims. He has provided an invaluable resource in this time when new panaceas are being touted almost daily. A fascinating read, and an important tool.
