An entire movie soundtrack based on the chakras? Consider us intrigued.
Amazing Space, a meditational film by Ralph Stevens debuting April 7, 2015, will combine images of the cosmos with music, featuring a "sonic rise through the chakras" by ethereal composer/producer Kristin Hoffmann. Hoffmann creates live music for yoga classes, workshops, and retreats and has shared stages with The Wallflowers, Feist, and Brandi Carlile in addition to singing for BELLA GAIA, an audiovisual experience created in conjunction with NASA.
"Amazing Space is designed as a multi-media meditational journey through the cosmos," Hoffmann says. "Tune in for 50 minutes and be carried on peaceful musical waves through the stars, our resonant ascent through inner space mirroring our visual ascent through outer space." She suggests using the film or its soundtrack as a guide for meditation, yoga, dance, or even daydreaming.

Exclusive Song Premiere: "Amazing Space"
"I approached this piece as a gradual building mantra song, using the word 'amazing' repetitively and hinting at the classic opening melody from the universal favorite, 'Amazing Grace,''' Hoffmann says. " The energy of the piece is a joyful, meditative, soul celebration. As we connect to the infinite space and beauty of our higher selves through the crown chakra, we feel the chant of 'amazing, amazing, amazing' expanding us to the outer reaches of our universe." Listen to the title track from the Amazing Space soundtrack now.
Amazing Space will be released online and in stores on Tuesday, April 7. It will be available for streaming and downloading online by visiting AmazingSpaceMovie.com as well as various other digital retailers. The soundtrack will also be available online via most digital music stores and by visiting kristinhoffmann.com.
