Day 7: Intermediate
Evening Sequence with Kate Holcombe
Congratulations on making it to the last day of your first week of the Challenge. We hope that by now, daily yoga practice has become part of your rhythm, something that you look forward to each day.
Today, you're in for a treat. This video sequence is designed to help you unwind and relax—from your day, from your week, you name it. Most of it will be done on the floor, but you may want to have a chair on hand. As you move through the sequence, take the time to tune into the breath and feel as it moves through your body. The goal is to let go of tension, so allow that breath to move deeply through you, taking with it any ounce of stress or holding that exists.
Practice this sequence any evening when you feel the need to unwind before bedtime.

Challenge Tip
If you haven't invested in yoga props such as blocks, straps, and bolsters, you can always improvise. A stack of books can do the work of a block, a bathrobe belt is a good substitute for a strap, and a folded blanket can stand in for a bolster.
Today's Recipe: Wild Rice and Dried Cranberry Cookies

These gluten-free cookies are a delicious substitute for traditional oatmeal raisin treats.
