Save Your Neck
Tension in the neck can cause a host of health problems—from headaches to anxiety to lower-back pain. Your teachers may advise you to be careful with your neck, but what exactly does that mean? This week, we examine some of the ways to care for your neck and ease tension that may cause pain. We begin with an in-depth look at Shoulderstand—a pose that, when performed correctly, has been called the "mother of all poses," and when performed incorrectly, has earned the dangerous nickname, "Neckstand."
Namaste,
Andrea
