I have a question.
A yoga participant has had bruising on the back side of her legs since doing yoga. These bruises are prommenent and concerned that yoga is the prime result.
Have you ever seen this before?
As an instructor, I do direct a lot of direction to muscle strength as to "Power Down" into the poses to create the strength into the legs. Could this be the problem?

Natasha,

It was recently brought to my attention that there are two different types of people - Liver People and Spleen People. Liver being more type A and perfectionist with more muscle stregth, Spleen being more creative and maybe a little less muscle strength, but more flexible. Do you know of this theory and what are your thoughts?

Thanks,
Jen
