How can you do Uddiayana and Jalandhara together? Seems practically impossible to me as theformer is done after full exhalation and the latter after full inhalation |

Practice of Uddiyana Band-ha has helped me release my mental stress, more energy in my body & my abdominal cramps disappeared {means helped my digestion} Very nice article. Thanks a lot. |

If people practice uddiynbandha regularly, there will be a drastic drop in the sail of tablets for acidity and gas!! |

My 7 year old daughter does this naturally--for the fun of it. It's amazing! She's teaching me. Between her innate ability/coaching and what I read here, I think I'm almost there! |

I think uddiyana bandha is a very advanced thing that few "yoga teachers" can do. If you are even working on it, you are doing good in your practice. |

if there is disscomfort in the area of the upper stomach and the possibility of a hiatal hernia (family history) do you suggest an alternative posture? Should the practice be stopped even though i've experienced great release and relief in other areas from this posture? |

Some people recommend this as an exercise to heal small inguenial hernias. Yet, it is contraindicated here. Could you elaborate on this point? Thank you. |
