Hi, is it possible to do a bridge from this position?
You know, similar to a handstand to bridge movement?

Jill

One of my favorite poses..however, in the description (as well as how I was taught this posture) the head should not be lifted like in the pic. Can you advise on this?

Mona

Just tried this pose last week as I was a little scared and it worked! I thought this was impossible for me! I now have to practice my balace in this pose, eventually getting up without the wall and holding balance! xxx

Karlie

I'm 67 years old now and definitely losing muscle power so getting more insight into how to do this pose and full arm balance without gripping the muscles - there are non to grip! - it's so en-lightening! Getting lighter and more 'up' as you age is awesome...

sandra

I just done this pose for the first time . I feel very excited and elated next i will try hand stand! yipee!!!!

Yesterday I did this pose in class and for the first time it wasn't a traumatic experience for the lower back and arms. This time it was quite easy and I guess it's because of all the backbend working we did during class, before adventuring ourselves with this one. It was great! Fantastic!

Roxy

Reba. This pose isn't as much about arm strength as one would think. Try opening the shoulders with eagle and cow face arms. Also, open your thoracic region with a backhand over a chair or some other mini backbend. It makes a huge difference.

Lisa

Sadie, my yoga teacher has us doing this pose with a block underneath our head. As you get stronger, you will not need the block.
