I strongly believe that I would not let my student with any neck/shoulder injury to do this.They are other incredible core strenghteners they could engage in without putting pressure on their already injured areas. |

I have found that this pose has significantly reduced my sciatica pain. I believe it is due to its strengthening of my core. It is amazing -- the small of my back gets actually hot after a minute. |

if it hurts to do the pose, modify by releasing one knee to the floor. don't create pain, create arm strength in Plank if that is easier for you. work up to the Dolphin Plank when ready |
