In reply to Yogagran-I had a bone removed from my wrist due to arthritis (I'm 71). Try using push up bars. Several of my students use these bars due to Carpel Tunnel & arthritis. You could also try making fists. Namaste |

Are there other modifications/props one might suggest, especially for those with carpal tunnel syndrome? |

I'm doing yoga on my own for a while, now i just made a video of myself and I saw that my shoulder blades are winging a lot. I tried to avoid it, but it's physically impossible (yet) even with my knees on the ground, how can i train to get it right? thanks! |

If this pose causes discomfort, or hurts your shoulders, try using this pose in a standing position against a wall. doesn't put as much pressure on the shoulders. |

I recently was able to view a video of the "Sun Salutation" sequence. For some reason, I have not been able to find it again, nor have I found the 'searching' function to work on this website. In trying to expand my home practice, I find these videos so helpful so any feedback on how to view/access a sequence would be appreciated. Happy New Year! |

How would I go about getting permission to use one of the pictures on this website for a project I am working on? |

Not suitable for anyone with Osteoporosis, risk of fractures. Do not place knuckles on the floor, risk of Mallet finger. If it is painful, dont' do it. |
