I need to know how the hip box is supposed sit. Are the front top hips tipped forward? Or is the entire hip frame sitting squarely on the floor. |

None of the preparatory poses have the same key actions as the main pose. I would suggest alternate leg lifting in down dog, lots of low lunges, and ardha hanumanasa (from low lunge, straighten front leg as you square the pelvis, taking the stretch into the hamstrings of the front leg). |

Being physically very specific - why does this pose help sciatica? |

Your details and recommendations are excellent. I also pass many of the asanas and detailed instructions on to my Yoga students. Keep up the good work! |

I was just thinking the same thing as Sibylle (above). Your instructions are always so thorough. An audio option would be wonderful. xx |

The descriptions of the asanas are wonderful - this is a great resource. I have a suggestion though - when trying to do an asana its hard to read the description and do it at the same time. Can you do an audio file as well, that way I can click on that, listen as I do the practice? |

The site is too Good, Keep it up. I just love the daily insight. It is not only informative and detailed, it is also very encouraging. I have been practicing Yoga in the past but you have helped me in perfecting my poses. I feel great the whole day. Thanks to My Guru Shri Shiv Om Shankar for introducing Yoga Journal. |
