WAGS gloves are the best for this. A built in prop. Wrist Assured Gloves. I have been using them for three years and love them.

sir, is there any treatment for cts in yoga?

I have a permanant wrist pain in my TFCC joint...basically from doing all kinds of weight bearing poses so i love them and it kills me not to do them! I wonder if you could add some example photos of some of the adaptions and prop uses? that would be wonderful!

this was helpful, thanks. confirms my suspicion that my wrist is strained from yoga :( am trying to rehabilitate because i don't want to give up the practice. been hurting for a year, hope i can start to heal.

I'm beginning yoga through the book Yoga Body Diet. Thank you so much for this info., as I did my first workout for Week 3 and my wrists were sore from repetitive Sun Salutations.

i recently fractured my wrist and now have a plate(permanet) trying to figure out what to do love my sun salutations

I have some wrist pain issues and find that push up bars, which are sold at most sporting goods stores work fairly well during yoga routines. They are fairly cheap...about 15.00.

Very informative. I have just started practising hot yoga for 3 months now and I am addicted. I am a very fit person who has worked out with weights and cardio for 20 years and yoga is a whole new experience. I have noticed in the last couple of weeks a bit of throbbing in my wrists and I was wondering the cause and what to do about it. Thank you for the information this was very helpful.

Very informative; sometimes I think less experienced practitioners are encouraged to come into strenous wrist-bearing poses such as handstand too soon. Building up strength and flexibility slowly is, as ever, the key.
