Young Yoga Masters

Katie - it can be super fun to teach kids, even with a wide age range like you have. Try getting the older kids to demonstrate the poses and the younger kids will follow along. A good prop like yoga card or the frog yoga alphabet can help get their interest at the beginning. Good luck.

i am looking into adding a yoga day to our after school program..... have no idea how to do this yet with a group of 12 kindergarten through fifth grade (mostly k-2) but think it could be super fun.

I teach a new kid Yoga & Pilate class.
It is so cool to see them learn the different poses.
I love hearing the stories of the children going home & showing their parent's what they have learned.
My niece (who is 5) had friends over the other day & she taught her friends a Yoga Class.
I wish I was there to see it!
