Hi. I've been practicing yoga for about 3 years, taking an average of 2 or 3 classes a week. I am 4 weeks pregnant. I've asked a couple of my instructors whether I need to modify any poses at this early stage, and I've gotten mixed answers. One said all poses are fine. The other said to do open instead of closed twists, avoid inversions, and avoid back bends other than cobra and updog. What is the right answer?

Hi, I'm looking for ways to exercise that won't aggravate my prolapsed disc, which is in the lower back area. I am overweight and most of that is in the tummy area making me look 8 months pregnant. Which poses would I benefit from? Thanks
