The racial nerve intervates the triceps. My guess is the nerve has been irritated by some sort of impingment either in the neck or facial (connective tissue). Nerves do not stretch they glide therefore if you stretch the muscle and the nerve doesn't glide, irritation can happen. Seeing a person who performs myofacial techniques may help.
About a month ago was doing tricep dips, continued for about week. Began to feel something in neck and shoulder on left side like I hurt a muscle or nerve. Has been awhile but still bothering me, hvnt worked out in a week. What can be done and how long to heal?
