I believe that the mudra that is indicated in this article is chin, with palms up and not jnana. This last mudra is with palms down.

Yes u are all correct. So = that (the devine) and Hum = I (or the ego). Breathe in the devine and exhale the ego is another way of visualising the meditation

I read the book on SOHUM by Swami Muktanandji in which he preached when you exhale So and When you inhale Hum sound comes naturally if you listen to sound of the breath. Please Get back to us on this Shiv Rea.

I was taught in sanskrit that so: that; aham:I(am) and not the reverse.. Now I note that the reverse is being preached, contrary to my practice of years!

I have been under the impression that so:
9sanskrit) that (is); ahum:(sanskrit) I (am); not vice versa. I note that the vice versa is required to be followed.!
