Dulse is a dried sea vegetable that adds a salty flavor similar to Parmesan cheese. Serve this sauce on whole-wheat pasta or add a dollop on top of quesadillas.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cilantro (about 2 bunches)
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 5 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped (about 1 tsp.)
  • 3 Tbs. dulse flakes

Preparation

  1. Purée all ingredients in food processor until smooth.
