If you use dried herbs, simply halve the measurements in the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 12- to 14-inch pizza crust
  • 3 Tbs. olive oil
  • 2 to 4 cloves crushed garlic
  • 3 to 4 Tbs. shredded fresh basil
  • 1 tsp. fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 Tbs. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp. minced fresh marjoram
  • 1 tsp. minced fresh oregano
  • 4 oz. shredded low-fat, regular or soy mozzarella cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 450F. Prebake fresh pizza crust, if using, for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from oven, and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Brush pizza crust liberally with olive oil. Sprinkle crushed garlic and herbs on top of pizza, and add cheese.
  3. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from oven, and serve.
