Melon with Cracked Pepper-Honey Drizzle

Black pepper and a pinch of salt turn sweet melons into a refreshing hors d’oeuvre.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. honeydew, cubed
  • 1 1/2 lbs. cantaloupe, cubed
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp. cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

1. String chunks of melon on wooden skewers, alternating colors. Arrange on platter.

2. Warm honey 30 seconds in microwave. Stir pepper into honey. Drizzle mixture over melon skewers, and sprinkle with salt.
