Seriously Funny |
|
When you share a deep belly laugh with your students, you build more than abdominal muscles—you also build relationships. Even so, it's not uncommon for yoga teachers to focus so much on alignment and sequencing that they forget to make the class fun. Luckily, you don't have to be a comedian to elicit laughter from your students. You just need a good attitude, an open mind, and the willingness to let loose and be silly every now and then.
In this issue of MYM, learn to lighten the mood in your next class, get ideas on how to save a class gone wrong, and read the next installment on assessing your students' progress. Then, get tips from John Friend on incorporating spirituality into your classes.
Namaste,
Erica Rodefer
